Being present in Megève was a key move for Fusalp. The boutique* located in the heart of the village houses all the fall/winter and spring/summer collections for the whole family, in a warm architectural space inspired by great designers of the 1950s such as Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouvé.

Nestled in the hollow of the Mont-Blanc massif and the Aravis range, Megève has enjoyed, since the 1920s, a reputation as an elegant and sporty holiday resort carried by the great Alpine ski champions such as Emile Allais and Adrien Duvillard.

Popular amongst ski enthusiasts, the village oozes a certain mountain ‘art de vivre’. From Jean Marais who introduced the place to Jean Cocteau, to Roger Vadim who located there his film “Les Liaisons Dangereuses”, via Audrey Hepburn and Françoise Sagan, Megève has always attracted an international clientele with its discreet luxury and authenticity.

The Megevans have managed to preserve the historic heritage of this internationally renowned town. The “Skier’s Chalets” with brightly colored shutters, created in the 1930s by architect H.J. Le Same, are mixed with more contemporary wooden constructions. Around the cobbled alleys and small squares, luxury hotels, chic boutiques and gourmet restaurants all promise an exceptional stay.

Originally an agricultural town where inhabitants enjoyed fertile and rich land, Megève is today one of the most brilliant ambassadors of mountain gastronomy. With 45 local farms and producers, the village attracts talented chefs, including four distinguished in the Michelin guide, who boldly sublimate local products and local specialties.
