IKS SKI | Fusalp launches its first ever pair of skis

Annecy-born brand Fusalp, partner of the most legendary ski champions for over 60 years, is launching IKS, its first-ever pair of Alpine skis.

These all-mountain skis were born from the collaboration with Alain Zanco, a go-to name in ski making whose passion for technicality and clean lines echoes undeniable savoir-faire. Technical research with performance in mind impacted the design and the choice of modern materials such as carbon and bi-axial fiberglass mixed with natural ones (the core is crafted from balsa wood and layers of walnut are used for the side cambers). Inserts of copper—the Fusalp signature—are added as a finishing touch to the base made from carbon and smoked eucalyptus.

The unique Fusalp skis are the best tool to take on short turns as well as long technical slopes, on all types of snow. A winter must-have for guaranteed thrills.

Performance and luxury !

The IKS skis are made in France in a limited edition of 52 pairs (a nod to the year 1952, when Fusalp was born) available in two sizes (167cm and 177 cm).

Antoine Dénériaz, 2006 downhill race Olympic champion and loyal Fusalp ambassador, adds: “The Fusalp skis are adapted to all snow conditions. Their versatility enables great comfort and snow grip. The carefully selected noble materials, combined to Alain Zanco’s exceptional handmade savoir-faire, make it a unique object.”

With every IKS purchase, Fusalp gifts free ski care at Ski Clinic, for a period of one year (valid once).

The IKS skis are available at the Fusalp boutiques of Le Marais, Megève, Saint-Honoré, Zermatt, Gstaad and London.
