Softshell is a stretchy, water-repellent, laminated fabric that is scraped inward to provide warmth. This technical and comfortable material offers functions of wind, breathability, heat and impermeability.
Ability for a fabric to breathe. This means to evacuate water vapor to the outside of the product. Breathability refers to the ability of a fabric to evacuate water vapor and limits excess heat during physical activity. It is measured in Thermal Evaporative Resistance (RET) or in gr / m² / 24H.
Therma Technology is a thermoregulation process which maintains maximum warmth while eliminating perspiration to the outside. The therma material has a scraped interior that provides more or less heat depending on the weight of the materials.
This technology prevents the passage of air from the outside to the inside. Also when the wind is blowing and the weather is cool, you remain at a pleasant temperature. This combination of protection and breathability reduces the cooling effect of the wind.
Water repellency is the capacity for a fabric to be waterproof to a certain extent. This is down to a treatment, not to the intrinsic quality of the fabric or the weaving. The interest of the water repellent treatment is that no drop of water penetrates or is absorbed.
4-WAY STRETCH FABRIC
The Stretch Technology adds extensibility to the main clothing fabric thus offering maximum ease and comfort to the user. Stretch is obtained either by using elastane thread, or by a specific weaving process. This dual-stretch fabric provides multidirectional extensibility.
